The interior architecture was completely re-imagined for modern times with new living spaces, home automation, and new cooking areas.
Germanhaus was given freedom of design, while working with an elite architecture firm, Luxe, to create a timeless and elegant kitchen design.
The island in the middle of the room acts as a landing area as well as storage, needed to grow but without decreasing traffic flow.
Combining the love of French-style decor with modern German cabinetry, this house is given a new lease on life, to serve future generations.
Challenges included redesigning the wall that housed refrigeration units, splitting them up and creating a feature wall with open shelves instead of cabinets that used to block the natural light.
